Oxyzone Park or the City Park of Kota is a newly constructed lush green park with numerous features like oxygen rich plants, aviary, statues, restaurants, playing zones, water canals, fountains etc. It is situated in Vigyan Nagar area of Kota. Here is the detailed information about this scenic beauty-

Information on Oxyzone Park Kota-

The construction of the park is done under the supervision of Shri Shanti Dhariwal Ji, who is also responsible for various remarkable constructions in this Coaching City Kota. This Oxyzone Park is constructed over an area of 71 acres with an estimated cost of INR 120 crores. 72% area of the park will be covered by greenery, about 16% area will be covered by water sources like canals and small lakes and the rest 12% is permanent construction like  statues and circles like Treeman’s Circle.
  

The Chief architect Anoop Bhartiya said that this Oxygen Park will aim at reducing the high temperatures in a radius of about 4 kilometers. Also, a positive impact of this oxygen will be observed in a radius of about 8 kilometers around the park.

Thousands of trees and plants are being planted in this park in a separate Oxyzone and most of these are suitable to the weather conditions of Kota and are high Oxygen volume producing species like Peepal. More than 30 thousand trees have been planted across the park. Also, a Botanical garden is being created inside the premises.

Horses carved out of plants, the inverted pyramid, bridge over the water canal, play zone for kids, colorful flowers, various statues are some of the attractive features of this Oxygen Park of Kota. 5 water ponds and a central water canal of about 3.5 kilometers is constructed that runs across the whole park. At the entrance of the Park a Flower Valley is constructed that has a good collection of beautiful flowers. Footpaths for walkers and cyclists are constructed along the canal.

Drinking water and food facilities will be made available inside the park premises itself and you will not be allowed to take any edible items inside. There will be a high security check through 44 high definition cameras installed all across the garden premises. A large oval shaped aviary is the most important attraction of this park which will house a number of bird species.

How to Reach City Park Kota?

This Oxyzone park is located near the Instrumentation Limited (IL) colony in the Vigyan Nagar area of Kota. This park is surrounded by numerous coaching centers and hostels in the areas like Talwandi, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar etc. This newly built Oxy Zone City Park will be a relaxing place for the students of coachings as well along with other people of Kota.


It is around 7 kilometers from Nayapura Bus Stand and about 12 kilometers from Kota Junction Railway Station. This park can be accessed through private as well as public vehicles like autos and city buses. The nearest airport is the Jaipur Airport at a distance of about 240 kilometers from Kota. 

Timings of City Park Kota-

The timings as of now mentioned on Google maps is from 5 am to 10 pm. While the exact timings will be updated here as soon as it is declared.

Entry Fee and Tickets of City Park Kota-

The ticket price for visiting this park is INR 100 per person. If you are a student then do carry your ID Card as there is a discounted price of INR 50 for students. Also, there is a monthly pass of INR 300 for people who want to come daily for morning walks. Separate charges are there for boating and bird safari.

Best Time to Visit Oxyzone Park Kota- 

Although you can visit this park anytime of the year, it is advisable to visit here during the winters or during the light monsoon seasons. It is best to visit during the months of July to March.
Also, to get a full bloom of oxygen one should go for a morning walk inside this Oxyzone Park.
